Hope for New York

Hope for New York (HFNY) is Redeemer's mercy outreach to the city. HFNY's mission is to provide volunteer and financial resources to organizations serving the poor and marginalized in New York City. HFNY's vision is to create a city in which individuals and communities experience spiritual, personal, social and economic well-being through the demonstration of Christ's love.

Since 1992, HFNY has been incorporated as a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit, charitable organization. HFNY has provided funds to start, expand and strengthen non-profit organizations throughout New York City. HFNY volunteers invest their time and also offer their pro-bono services to make a difference in the lives of the poor. By mobilizing resources in the form of grants and volunteers, HFNY makes an impact in the lives of the individuals and in the communities they serve. HFNY currently supports organizations that serve various populations including inner-city youth, low-income families, homeless, the elderly, immigrants and those living with HIV/AIDS.
